“Under Our Skin” Needs Your Help
Open Eye Pictures has set up a 501(c)(3) corporation to accept donations to help them with their national "Uncover the Epidemic" outreach campaign. They want to expose the documentary to a lot of people and organizations who need to understand the Lyme disease epidemic. To contribute, go directly to the UOS "donate" page.

Controversy on Treatment of Lyme Disease: Patients with persistent symptoms after standard antibiotic therapy ( a 2–4 week period recommended by the IDSA) for Lyme disease have been denied further antibiotic treatment as a result of the assertion by the IDSA that long-term infection is rare or nonexistent. This growing controversy regarding the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease is driven by the restrictive conditions imposed on physicians and their patients by the IDSA treatment guidelines.
Click here to read a rebuttal by Raphael Stricker, MD and links to the IDSA and ILADS guidelines.
